hmm...
sure made me think a while. although, with the power of speech on my side i should've probably seen it a wee bit before.
well, let me clarify a little bit. the IIM stands for "i i am" which translates to-"i am what i am"- for the uninitiated. in other words this is where you are supposedly taught the skills to survive in this dog-eat-dog-world environment and that is where those two I's jump in.
and then let me clarify some more. This is a declaration that, "the views expressed here are the authors own and do not reflect the views of the institute in any way. Any enquiries regarding the stated matter will not deal with the institute in any way whatsoever."
And then, YES, this is the IIM campus over here. but this is going to come up only once here and no further because the content of this blog is about the author's views on issues and life in general and not concerned only on the IIM brand.
coming back to the topic, well, the european exchange students served up an enchanting array of items. (and i was quite wrong about guessing that they would be attempting any jhatkas and matkas). they brought up some heart-rending songs in french (no idea about the lyrics, but i can assure you that the tune and the music make words unnecessary, and wasn't it said that music reaches across language barriers?)
plus, there was the dinner that i had mentioned in the previous blog. although yours truly got to taste only the rubberised version of their pasta and a rocky version of the ginger-bread toast since he was busy writing this blog.
hmm.. a recent survey said the length of a blog should not be too long that the reader loses interest. funny though, because the boom in blogging has resulted from the very fact that
there were no rules and people could write anything that they want. well that brings me to a very favorite expression of mine... vicious circles. ever thought that the human life is one vicious cycle? (and not only by the hindu and buddhist reasoning of rebirth). More on this in the next blog in the series.

i share the concern of the blogger here.. no issues should be brewed that crashes the warm experience of blogging as in person. the blogger is right and absolutely right when he declares that blogging has survived the tsunami of electronic bsness just because it sided the blogowners to have authentic authority to write and share his experience as he likes. This 'authority' is a freedom that helped bring forth great many new and innovative thinkers.. or for that matter writers.
this to me resounds like a true platform that withstood the great dot com slump as we have seen in the past.
on the other hand ,i would greatly appreciate if the blogger .. [mr.. vin] would initiate a no retaliation stand in the first place.. because a way of approach.. be it different, greatly enhances a probable chances of increasing the colours of the issue [although there isn't any as such..]
refraining makes a sense ..as i hopefully {in a world of my own} began understanding the power of wisdom, life is a little richer when one pauses for a while to ponder around.. maybe there could be the other side.May be i am just because i am. In this regard.. i share a relatively more symphatetic feeling with the anonymouse {atleast keep a nick} that institute is just as good as brain in one's head.so keeping the head hot because IIM is I AM will fail to induce a phenomenon. again.. to 'speechmaker'..the freedom to express views and comment on it[differently] no matter let there be a background {could be hut in the woods... could be mit,or kellogs} should nt tempt one to enforce restrictions .. as afterall its just a blog where we share a common space in this techie electronic era.
so my point.. 'a balance and acceptance'..hopefully this shouldn't contradict the speechmaker and anonymouse distinctively.
poor vin is our moderator.. so i can see his urgency when he says 'getting the box to work'.. the rest-roti, papad ,chicken, frenchguy and lps and mps will keep coming.
i have gone through all the posts.. and it seems interesting.Except that the blogger writes 2wice in a month. put more.
p.s ano and smaker could give a peep to my latest blog..'no girl,no job..come to delhi.'
